The idea for SooNice Sunnies came about over a family meal when we asked ourselves whether children needed sunglasses from a medical point of view. The topic stuck with us and we started talking to eye specialists about it. This made us realize that children's eyes are particularly sensitive to UV radiation and need to be protected from it accordingly.

Subsequent intensive research revealed that there was no corresponding product on the market that met all of our requirements. Conventional children's sunglasses are rarely adapted to the needs of children, but are simply smaller adult sunglasses. We at SooNice Sunnies have changed that and designed sunglasses exclusively for children: 100% UV-A and UV-B protection, side flaps to prevent stray light, scratch-resistant lenses and a light and flexible material for particularly high wearing comfort. Our SooNice Sunnies are made from recycled nylon (ECONYL®) in Italy. This means that no new plastic is put into circulation and CO2 emissions are saved.

We want to educate parents about the dangers of UV rays entering their children's eyes and offer high-quality, responsibly manufactured sunglasses designed exclusively for children to protect against them.
